Everyone is to meet at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal at 6:45 am. You must arrange your own transportation to the ferry terminal. We are boarding the 7:45 am ferry. You may purchase lunch either on the ferry or in Port Alberni or you may pack a lunch.
Friday, October 7, 2011
You will be boarding the 12:45 pm ferry at Duke Point. The ferry ride is 2 hours. Please arrange to be picked up from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal at 2:45 pm.

Please review with your parents the JO Mini School Program Expectations and the Field Trip Rubric
Any violations of school/program rules may result in the student being sent home at parents expense – remember you are ambassadors and representatives of the program and the school at all times!
Please turn in all pledges by October 12, 2011
TRIPS
September 26-30 Ashland, Oregon - Shakespeare Festival – grades 10-12 - still need a few chaperones
October 3-7 Bamfield, Vancouver Island - marine biology – grade 9 – have enough chaperones
January 2-6 Sun Peaks, Kamloops, BC - winter survival, skiing/boarding – grades 8-12 – we are needing chaperones
May (TBA) Gabriola Island – camping, tenting, kayaking – grades 8-12 – we are needing chaperones
Grade 7 parent info night – November 24th, 7pm, library
Grade 7’s – Applications for mini due December 15
Grade 7 interviews – January 23-25
All forms have been emailed. If you did not get an email, please see Michelle in the mini office ASAP.
We will be leaving on a Sunday from Horseshoe Bay and returning Thursday afternoon through Tsawassen. PLEASE MAKE SURE WHO EVER IS DRIVING KNOWS THIS.
